Motion to approve Resolution No. 259-25, to award an agreement with Waterblasting, LLC., for hydroblast cleaning of the City's Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Clarifiers, utilizing Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners Invitation to Bid IFB #24-072/JS, in a total contact value not to exceed $625,000.

Background:
On October 24, 2024, Palm Beach County Board of County Commissioners issued Invitation to Bid IFB #24-072/JS, Hydroblasting At Various Water Treatment Plants. The bid was approved by the County Commission on January 20, 2025, the term of the agreement is for twelve (12) months with the option to review for four (4) additional twelve (12) month periods valid through January 21, 2026.
The Utilities Department Water Treatment Plant (WTP) request to utilize this contract for maintenance cleaning of excessive buildup of calcification of lime to the WTP four (4) clarifiers. Maintaining the clarifiers are necessary to keep them from breakdown.
