Motion to approve Resolution No. 28-26, to award an agreement with Venegroup Services, Inc., d/b/a VNG Utility Locators, for underground utility location services utilizing the City of Boca Raton Solicitation No. ITB 2025-042-VG, initial 2 year with five (5) one (1) year renewal options for total not to exceed $1,271,107.

Background:
The City of Boca Raton under Solicitation No. ITB 2025-042-VG, entered into an Agreement with Venegroup Services, Inc., d/b/a VNG Locators to provide underground utility location services. The initial term of the Agreement is for a two (2) year term, valid from August 21, 2025, with five (5) additional one (1) year renewal periods, valid through August 20, 2032.
Per Florida Statue 556, the City of Delray (City) is required to locate and mark Utility Services infrastructure and enter a code into the Sunshine One-Call of Florida, Inc. (SSOCOF) Positive Response System for each locate ticket request in the City utility service area including within City limits. This contract will provide location services for Utilities Department (Utilities) of underground utilities and investigation reports if/when Utilities pipelines are damaged by activities of contractors.
This motion is in accordance with the Code of Ordinance, Chapter 36, Commission Approval Required and Purchasing Policies.
Should the City exercise the renewal options in the contract, the cumulative estimated contract value through the term of the contract is provided below.
