Motion to approve Resolution No. 09-24, to award an initial (3) three-year agreement (Agreement), with option for one (2) two-year renewal with Line-Tec, Inc. for water service connections, restorations, and miscellaneous services, in a total not to exceed contract value of $10,156,500, valid through January 13, 2029.

Background:
On August 29, 2023, the City of Delray Beach (City) advertised an Invitation to Bid (ITB) No. 2023-017 for water service connections and restoration, and miscellaneous services including but not limited to emergency repairs maintenance of water mains, relocation of water services, hydrants and meters, also providing backflow installations, repairs and certified testing, almost 131 miscellaneous needed services. A total of two (2) bids were received by Line Tec and R & M Services Solutions. After the City completed its due diligence, the bid was recommended to Line-Tec the lowest and most responsible bidder.

This motion is in accordance with the Code of Ordinances Chapter 36, Commission Approval Required and Purchasing Policies.
