On August 17, 2026, a Voluntary Pre-Bid Meeting was held wherein five (5) interested potential Bidders attended.
The ITB had an initial Bid Submission Due Date of September 9, 2026. On August 31, 2026, CRA Staff issued Addendum #1 that extended the Bid Submission Deadline to September 18, 2026. On September 18, 2026, one (1) Bid was received by 4:00PM deadline.

At this time, CRA Staff is requesting the CRA Board cancel the Invitation to Bid CRA No. 2026-03 - Construction of Repairs & Improvements for the CRA-Owned Historic Commercial Building Located at 182 NW 5th Avenue and authorize CRA Staff to re-issue the ITB.
The ITB states within Section 1, Paragraph 10, “Cancellation of Bid Solicitation”, that “[t]he CRA reserves the right to cancel, in whole or in part, this ITB at any time when it is in the best interest of the CRA which shall be determined at the sole and absolute discretion of the CRA.”
Cancelling and re-issuing the ITB is in the best interest of the CRA as it would allow CRA Staff an additional opportunity to seek additional Bidders to obtain competitive pricing from responsible and responsive Bidders to accomplish the scope of work needed. Prior to re-issuance CRA Staff will reach out to those that attended the Voluntary Pre-Bid Meeting to inquire as to why they chose not to submit a Bid.
The ITB will be issued, in substantially the same form as included in Exhibit B. The full ITB will be available on Bidnet Direct, www.bidnetdirect.com <http://www.bidnetdirect.com>, and on the CRA’s website, www.delraycra.com <http://www.delraycra.com>; a hard copy can also be requested via email or in person at the CRA office.
