Motion to approve the City’s utilization of a Sole Source procurement with Wesco Turf, Inc. dba Hector Turf (Hector Turf), the exclusive authorized dealer for Toro commercial golf equipment, parts, and services in Southeast Florida, to support ongoing golf course and city landscape maintenance operations.

Background:
Hector Turf serves as the exclusive authorized dealer for Toro commercial products, parts, and services within the Southeast Florida region. The company provides comprehensive support for Toro’s full line of golf course and landscape maintenance equipment, including Greenmasters, Groundmasters, Reelmasters, utility vehicles sprayers, debris equipment, Sand Pros, commercial parts, and irrigation products utilized by the City’s golf and Park Maintenance facilities.
As an authorized Toro distributor, Hector Turf maintains a substantial inventory of Toro certified parts, materials, and supplies necessary to support the operational and maintenance requirements of the City’s parks and golf courses. Orders are typically processed and shipped within 24 hours, with the option for same-day pickup. Hector Turf’s facility, located approximately 15 minutes south of Delray Beach in Deerfield Beach, provides convenient access for timely service and parts availability.
Hector Turf is the sole provider of Toro equipment and replacement parts in the Southeast Florida area.
Per the City’s Purchasing Policy, three-year cumulative purchases above $65,000 require City Commission Approval.
