Background:

MAINTENANCE OF TRAFFIC PLAN/ ROAD CLOSURE

To date, Contractor has utilized ten (10) roadway closure days, leaving four (4) allowable roadway closure days before City Commission approval is required. For the completion of the three (3) speed table reconstruction areas, Contractor is requesting a total of six (6) roadway closure days. Of these six (6) days, four (4) days fall within the remaining allowable closure days, and the remaining two (2) days would exceed the contractual allowance, requiring City Commission approval.

Consider acceptance of a Maintenance of Traffic Plan/Road Closure Plan by Contractor to ensure the safety of construction crews and the public while milling and repaving Lindell Boulevard between Bobolink Road and Albatross Road. Residents will maintain access to their homes however temporary street parking may be necessary. The closure is anticipated to last approximately 4 days, beginning on or around March 23, 2026.
