Background:

Section 2.4.7(E), Appeals, of the Land Development Regulations applies. This is the method of informing the City of Delray Beach (“City”) City Commission of the land use actions which may be appealed to the City Commission.

 

During the specified period the Site Plan Review and Appearance Board (SPRAB) and the Historic Preservation Board (HPB) considered the project noted below. For the item below, a project report including the Board Staff Report is attached. No other Boards took actions on any appealable applications during this period.

 

Site Plan Review and Appearance Board (SPRAB)

January 8, 2020

 

Item A.                      1395 NW 17TH Avenue; Delray North Business Park

Request:                 Color Change associated with the building's elevations.

Board Action:          Approved on a 7-0 vote. 

 

Item B.                      25 SW 5th Avenue; Sweet Jamaican Restaurant

Request:                 Consideration of a color change to the building from a light green to English Daisy, Lazy Lizard and Marquee Trim.

Board Action:          Approved on a 7-0 vote.

 

Item C.                     925 S. Congress Avenue; A-Christian Glass

Request:                 Consideration color change to the building from a canary yellow with grey awnings to a Steely Gray, Gray Screen and Sea Serpent Trim.

Board Action:         Approved on a 7-0 vote.

 

Item D.                      2870 Florida Blvd.; Wellness Resource Center  

Request:                 Consideration of a material change to the roof from concrete Tile Mansard with 24-GA 1.75" High Vertical Seamed 16" wide "Galvalume" nonstructural metal panels.

Request:                 Consideration of a Certificate of Appropriateness request for the installation of a shed.

Board Action:         Approved on a 6-0 vote. 

 

Item I.                      4-8 E. Atlantic Avenue; Tin Roof

Request:                Consideration of a Class I Site Plan Modification Certificate of Appropriateness request for the exterior renovation to an existing contributing structure located at 4 E   Atlantic Avenue, along with exterior modifications to the site located at 8 E Atlantic Avenue.

Board Action:        Approved on a 6-0 vote. 

 

Item J.                     702 NE 3rd Avenue

Request:                Consideration of a Class V Site Plan, Landscape Plan, Elevations, and Certificate of Appropriateness request for the conversion of an existing non-contributing single-family residence to office.

Board Action:       Approved on a 6-0 vote.
