Approve the Interlocal Agreement between the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency, and the City of Delray Beach to provide funding for litter prevention officers in substantially the attached form.

Background:
In an effort to improve the City of Delray Beach’s (City) litter prevention services and to prevent and eliminate slum and blight in Subareas 3, 4, and 8 of the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) District, the CRA has agreed to fund the positions of two (2) Litter Prevention Officers. The Litter Prevention Officers will provide litter prevention services in Subareas 3, 4, and 8 of the CRA District and the City’s Clean and Safe District within the CRA District. The services will be provided 7 days a week.
At this time, CRA Staff is requesting the CRA Board approve the Interlocal Agreement between the CRA and City for the CRA, in substantially the attached form, to provide funding for two Litter Prevention Officers in an amount not to exceed per the following schedule:
