Motion to approve additional spending by $10,000 with Cheney Brothers, Inc. for a cumulative spending total in an amount not to exceed $70,000 for re-sale food products at the Delray Beach Municipal Golf Club.

Background:
The City of Delray Beach Municipal Golf Club (Golf Club) provides restaurant and banquet services as one of the essential functions of its daily operations. The Golf Club has various food distributors to provide what is needed to operate a quality food service department. There are specific items sold by different vendors which makes it necessary to have the flexibility to purchase from multiple vendors. The restaurant and management staff at the Golf Club monitor vendors, ensuring the items purchased are of the best quality at the best prices.
Cheney Brothers, Inc. provides quality products with excellent service, pricing, and are able to meet the demands of the Golf Club.
We are requesting additional spending to purchase order no. 2025-0137 bringing the total amount to $70,000.

Food for re-sale is exempt from the competitive bidding process.
