Motion to approve Resolution No. 38-26, to award an agreement with Hog Technologies, for Hydroblasting Services, pursuant to ITB No. 2026-015, in a 5 year total contract value not to exceed $750,000 ($150,000 year) respectively.

Background:

On December 10, 2025, the  Purchasing and Contract Administration Division in coordination with the Utilities Department advertised ITB No. 2026-015 for Hydroblasting Services. On December 23, 2025, Purchasing  received three (3) responses, with Hog Technologies as the lowest and most responsive bidder. The bid award provides a total contract value of $450,000 for a three (3) year term, with two (2) additional one-year renewals, valid through February 23, 2031.

 

Should the City exercise the renewal option in the contract, the cumulative estimated contract value through the term of the contract is provided below is where the sponsoring department would describe the project or proposal, how it supports the City's mission, how and why we have come to seek City Commission authority to undertake the activity.
