Motion to Approve Resolution No. 87-26 to award an Agreement to YC Group, LLC for Construction Services related to the Seawall Replacement and Repair project pursuant to ITBC No. 2026-021 (Public Works Project No. 24-001) in the amount of $2,748,176.73; authorizing the City Manager to execute any amendments and/or renewals thereto and take any and all actions necessary to effectuate the intent of this resolution; providing an effective date; and for other purposes.

Background:
The City of Delray Beach (City) is currently looking to replace and/or repair various City owned/maintained seawalls throughout the City These seawalls have been identified in the City of Delray Beach Publicly Owned Seawalls Assessment Report (dated July 24th, 2023; completed by the City’s consultant, APTIM) which evaluated the existing seawall condition and their vulnerability related to projected sea level rise. Said assessment identified and prioritized seawalls in need of full replacement and/or repair. The scope of this project includes the full/partial replacement of eleven (11) seawalls and the repair/enhancement of five (5) seawalls.
