Motion to adopt Resolution No. 145-23 - Adopting the Tentative Budget for the fiscal year beginning on October 1, 2023 and ending on September 30, 2024.

Background:

This is the first of two required public hearings for the adoption of the tentative budget for the City of Delray Beach for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 2023, and ending on September 30, 2024. The budget appropriations are set forth in Exhibit A of the attached Resolution No. 145-23. The tentative budget for the City of Delray Beach sets the proposed operating millage rate at 6.3611 mills and the proposed debt service millage rate at 0.1371 mills.

 

 

Timing of Request:

This is the first of two required public hearings. The second public hearing will be held on September 18, 2023.
