Motion to consider a request to postpone the hearing scheduled for December 12, 2023, for the appeal of the administrative decision regarding the parking lot located at 551 W. Linton Boulevard.

Background:

This request stems from an appeal filed by Attorney Michael Weiner.  Mr. Weiner is appealing the staff’s administrative decision concerning the use of a parcel located at 551 W. Linton Boulevard for new car inventory.  Pursuant to the City’s Land Development Regulations, an appeal must be heard no more than 60 days from the Clerk’s receipt of the request for an appeal.  Here, the appeal was filed on November 21, 2023, and was scheduled to be heard on December 12, 2023. 

 

Mr. Weiner is requesting a postponement of the matter to January 4, 2024.  Staff have no objection to the request.
