Motion to accept an ingress-egress easement by the owners of 2 NW 18th Avenue, as included on the TWO NORTHWEST 18TH AVENUE Plat.

Item 1
The owner(s) submitted a subdivision plat application for the subject property. During the application process it was determined that an ingress-easement is required on the southeast corner of the property. F.S. 177.071 requires administrative approval of plats. However, F.S. 177.081 requires the governing body to approve any dedications, including easements. Thus, action by the governing body must be taken to accept the requisite ingress-egress easement, prior to administrative approval of the plat.
The proposed plat is attached as an Exhibit, and shows the location of the ingress-egress easement on the southeast corner of the property.

There is no expense to the City.
Timing of Request:
If approved, the plat will be approved and recorded, allowing a building permit to be submitted.
