Motion to recognize the Rock The Block neighborhood improvement initiative through a tri-party partnership between Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and the City of Delray Beach.

Background:
Rock the Block (formerly known as Paint Up Delray) has been a City of Delray Beach tradition since 1989, evolving in 2018 into partnership with Habitat for Humanity of Greater Palm Beach County, the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) and City of Delray Beach, to embody the principles of collaboration, empowerment, sustainability. The Rock the Block event demonstrates a commitment to affordable homeownership, neighborhood revitalization and resident engagement and aligns with our community's goals of fostering inclusive, thriving neighborhoods where all residents can flourish.
