Recommendation
Motion to approve Resolution No. 18-19 or Resolution No. 52-19.
Body
Background:
On December 9, 1997, the City Commission of the City of Delray Beach adopted Resolution No. 88-97 establishing the Parking Management Advisory Board (hereinafter referred to as the “PMAB”) as a formal advisory board tasked with advising and making recommendations to the City Commission with respect to parking management policy and issues related to planning, financing, development, construction and operation of parking facilities within the City of Delray Beach. The City Commission directed the City Manager to reduce the number of advisory boards, which included PMAB. The City Commission of Delray Beach finds it to be in the best interest to dissolve the PMAB and establish the Parking Technical Advisory Committee (hereinafter referred to as the “PTAC”) tasked with advising and providing recommendations to the City Manager with respect to parking regulations within the City of Delray Beach.
