Motion to Approve the Second Amendment to the Lease Agreement between the City of Delray Beach and the Creative City Collaborative of Delray Beach, Inc.

Background:
The City and Creative City Collaborative (CCC) entered into the Lease Agreement Between the City of Delray Beach, Florida and the Creative City Collaborative of Delray Beach, Inc. for approximately 10,289 square feet of space on the first floor of the Old School Square Parking Garage (“Leased Space”) that was set to expire earlier this year. On April 5, 2016, the City Commission approved the First Amendment to the Lease Agreement, which extended the lease term on a month-to-month basis to September 16, 2016. The CCC has been diligently working with the City to draft a revised and restated lease incorporating the recommendations of the Commission and have requested another month-to-month lease extension for the CCC for the Leased Space, for a term not to exceed (2) months.

Finance recommends approval.
Timing of Request:
The First Amendment to the Lease Agreement is a month-to-month agreement that will expire on September 16, 2016.
