Special Events Technical Advisory Committee (SETAC) recommends the Development Services Management Group (DSMG) approve the special event known as The Club Delray - Wellness by the Sea to be held on October 17, and December 19, 2026, February 13 and April 24, 2027; and authorize the Special Event Manager (SEM) to take all actions necessary to effectuate the Special Event Permit.

Background:
The Club Delray submitted a Special Event Application on July 16, 2026, for the Event The Club Delray - Wellness by the Sea to take place at Veterans Park on October 17, December 19, 2026, February 13, and April 24, 2027. This is a health and wellness event that will have workouts (Pilates and yoga), cold plunges, sauna tents, a DJ, and health and wellness vendors. The sauna tents have been approved by Fire and Life Safety.There will be food vendors as well. The event producers are expecting 100 people. This is a ticketed event for the community. The park and playground will remain open for park goers. This is the first time this event will be taking place. A similar event by the same producer was held in January of 2026 at Old School Square without issue. The event will go from 10:00am - 2:30pm.
