Motion to Award the purchase of two (2) Toro Greenmaster Mower #3150-Q from Wesco Turf, Inc. as per Florida State Contract #21100000-15-1.

Background:
Delray Beach Golf Course is in need of two (2) new greens mowers. Each of the current greens mowers have over 4,000 hours of use. The normal life expectancy of a greens mower is approximately 2,500 hours. Purchasing these two (2) mowers will provide our customers and residents with smoother, sharper well groomed putting surfaces when playing Delray Beach Golf Club.
Code of Ordinances Chapter 36, Section 36.02 (C) 7, "Methods of Acquisition- Utilization of Other Governmental Entities' Contracts", allows the City of Delray to utilize Florida State contract No. 21100000-15-1 for the purchase of Toro Greensmaster Mowers at a cost of $28,990.63 each for a total of $57,981.26.

Timing of Request:
This is time sensitive due to the age of the current greens mowers at the Delray Beach Municipal Golf Course.
