Motion to approve Resolution No. 223-25 approving an agreement with Fast-Dry Courts, LLC for Tennis Hard Court Resurfacing on an as-needed basis, pursuant to Invitation to Bid 2026-001 in a not to exceed amount of $305,000.00 and authorizing the City Manager to execute any amendments or renewals, subject to funding availability and appropriation of funds.

Background:
The Delray Beach Tennis Center located at 201 W. Atlantic Ave. has seven (7) hard tennis courts. To ensure safety, playability, and compliance with professional standards, resurfacing is a required maintenance practice consistent with the United States Tennis Association (USTA) best practice guidelines. Additionally, the city is contractually obligated to annually resurface courts for the Delray Beach Open Tennis Tournament.
On October 1, 2025, Invitation to Bid 2026-001 for Tennis Hard Court Resurfacing was advertised. Three (3) bids were received. Fast-Dry Courts, LLC was determined to be the lowest, responsive, and responsible vendor.
This motion is in accordance with Code of Ordinances Chapter 36 Commission Approval Required and Purchasing Policies and Procedures Manual Section 12 Purchasing Authorization Levels Purchases of $65,000.00 or Greater.
Should the City exercise renewal options provided in the agreement, the cumulative contract value is provided below:
