Body
Background:
This Resolution extends the pending ordinance doctrine, more commonly referred to as a “zoning in progress,” previously adopted by the City Commission scheduled to terminate on October 23, 2024 in reference to in lieu of parking requests. This extension through December 31, 2024 would allow City staff to acquaint the newest members of the City Commission with the proposed changes to the current Land Development Regulations. During the zoning in progress period, the City will defer acceptance and processing of applications for these requests until either adoption of new regulations or December 31, 2024, whichever comes first.
