Recommendation
Motion to approve Resolution No. 172-24 to award an Agreement with Blue Line Innovations, LLC for public safety uniforms, utilizing Town of Palm Beach contract pursuant to Invitation to Bid No. 2024-35 in the amount not to exceed $500,000
Body
Background:
On November 12, 2024, The Town of Palm Beach awarded a contract to Blue Line Innovations, LLC pursuant to Invitation to bid No. 2024-35, for public safety uniforms. The contract is valid through November 30, 2029.
The City of Delray Beach has previously utilized City of Lakeland’s contract with Blue Line Innovations, LLC, for purchases of public safety uniforms. Purchasing uniforms through this local vendor has been successful and the Police Department is requesting approval to continue utilizing the same vendor. While both City of Lakeland and Town of Palm Beach bid their public safety uniforms and awarded the contract to Blue Line Innovations, LLC., the Police Department would like to utilize Town of Palm Beach’s contract due to larger scope. Blue Line Innovations, LLC has a local store that can provide for immediate fulfillment of uniform needs.
The projected contract value is provided below.
Estimated Contract Value
5 Year Term December 1, 2024 - November 30, 2029 $ 500,000
Total $ 500,000
