Background:
On November 7, 2023, the City of Delray Beach issued a Request for Letters of Interest (RFLI 2024-012) for management and operations of its Crest Theatre facility to which the City received five (5) responses. On April 23, 2024, the City also received an unsolicited letter of interest from the Boca Raton Museum of Art regarding management and operations of the Crest Theatre facility.
During a regular meeting of the City Commission on May 7, 2024, staff was directed to invite all of the respondents to present at a Special Meeting on May 21, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. The following respondents (in alphabetical order) have been invited to present their proposals:
1. 27 Productions (Not registered to do business in the State of Florida)
2. Boca Raton Museum of Art
3. HZIP LLC
4. Old School Square Center for the Arts, Inc.
5. Taste History Art & Culture Study Tours
6. Windmill Theater LLC
