Motion to approve the nomination for an appointment for three (3) regular members to serve on the Police Advisory Board for a term ending July 31, 2026.

Background:
Due to the terms for Mr. Paul Cannon, Mr. Erik Feldmanis and Ms. Ann Stacey-Wright will expire on July 31, 2024.
Mr. Paul Cannon will have served one (1) full term, is eligible, and would like to be nominated for reappointment.
Mr. Erik Feldmanis will have served one (1) full term, is eligible, and would like to be nominated for reappointment.
Ms. Ann Stacey-Wright will have served one (1) full term, is eligible, and would like to be nominated for reappointment.
Nomination for an appointment is needed for three (3) regular members to serve a term ending July 31, 2026.
To qualify for an appointment, a person shall either be a resident, own property, own a business, or be an officer, director, or manager of a business located within the City of Delray Beach. The City Commission shall endeavor to include as many racial and ethnic minority members as possible and shall include a diverse cross-section of the community; i.e. business owners, religious and faith-based organizations, youth, school officials, and local organizations, where feasible.
The following individuals have submitted applications and would like to be nominated for an appointment:

A check for code violations and/or municipal liens was conducted. None were found. Voter registration verification was completed, and all are registered.
Based on the rotation system, nomination for an appointment for three (3) regular members to serve a term ending July 31, 2026, will be made by Deputy Vice-Mayor Long (Seat #2) Vice-Mayor Casale (Seat #3) and Commissioner Burns (Seat #4).
