Approve an extension to the existing Paint-Up and Signage funding assistance agreement for Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church for the exterior painting and signage improvements at 40 NW 4th Avenue, within CRA sub-area #8.

Background:
At the August 31, 2021, CRA Board Meeting, the CRA Board approved a Paint-Up & Signage funding award to Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church., located at 40 NW 4th Avenue, within CRA sub-area #8.
Due to extenuating circumstances, the improvement project had not yet commenced in January 2022, and the agreement was extended at the February 22, 2022, CRA Board Meeting. Mt. Olive took steps to get back on track which included contracting the painter for the improvement project and completing a considerable amount of the paint project around the building.
At this time, staff is requesting that an amendment be approved to extend the termination date from September 30, 2022, to January 31, 2023 to ensure that the project is completed within the parameters of the Funding Agreement.
