Motion to Approve Amendment No. 1 with Alexis Knight Architect, Inc. to renew the Agreement under the same terms and conditions in the amount of $48,000.

Background:
On July 6, 2017 the City Commission approved an Agreement for Architectural Compliance Review Services with Alexis Knight Architect, Inc. The initial term of the Agreement is from June 19, 2017 through June 18, 2020.
The Agreement includes provisions for a renewal option and staff recommends exercising the final, two-year renewal option for the period of June 19, 2020 through June 18, 2022.
Services under the Agreement include review of architectural plans for single-family homes, duplexes, or townhomes to ensure compliance with the Beach Property Owners Design Manual for the Ocean, Seagate, and North Beach Overlay Districts.
Should the City exercise the renewal option provided in the contract, the cumulative contract value is provided below:

This motion is in accordance with the City Code of Ordinances, Section 36 and City Policies and Procedures, Change Orders and Amendments; Contracts must be amended in the same manner in which they were executed.
