BASED ON THE ROTATION SYSTEM, THE NOMINATIONS FOR APPOINTMENTS OF TWO (2) REGULAR MEMBERS TO SERVE TERMS ENDING JULY 31, 2028, WILL BE MADE BY MAYOR CARNEY (SEAT #5) AND DEPUTY VICE MAYOR MARKERT (SEAT #1).

Motion to approve the appointments of two (2) regular members to serve terms ending July 31, 2028.

Body

Background:

Due to the resignation of Evan Orellana, a seat on the board is vacant.

 

The term for regular member Vinnie Ardillo will expire on July 31, 2026. She will have served on (1) unexpired term, is eligible, and would like to be considered for reappointment.

 

Green Implementation Advancement Board Member Requirements pursuant to Resolution 52-23:

 

1. The Green Implementation Advancement Board shall consist of five (5) members appointed by the City Commission. All appointments shall be for two (2) years, with two (2) terms expiring in odd-numbered years and three (3) terms expiring in even-numbered years so as to create staggered terms.

2. AIl members shall have expertise or an interest in environmental conservation and sustainability and shall be residents of or own property in the City, own a business within the City, or be an officer, director or manager of a business located within the City.
