Motion to approve nominations for appointment for two (2) regular members to serve on the Parking Management Advisory Board for a two (2) year term ending July 31, 2026.

Background:
The terms for Mr. John Gergen and Ms. Carol Anderson will expire on July 31, 2024.
Mr. John Gergen will have served one (1) full term, is eligible, but would not like to be nominated for reappointment.
Ms. Carol Anderson will have served one (1) full term, is eligible, but would not like to be nominated for reappointment.
Nomination for an appointment is needed for two (2) regular members to serve a two (2) year term ending July 31, 2026.
The Parking Management Advisory Board was established by Resolution No. 88-97, on February 5, 2019 was amended by Resolution 52-19. The purpose of the Board is to advise and provide recommendations to the City Commission regarding parking management policy and related issues including but not limited to, the planning, financing, development, construction and operation of parking facilities within the City of Delray Beach. That the Parking Management Advisory Board shall be composed of the Executive Director of the Delray Beach Downtown Development Authority and four (4) citizen-at-large representatives that are appointed by the City Commission. All citizen-at-large representatives shall have expertise or interest in parking management policy and related issues and shall be residents of or own property in the City, own a business within the City, or be an officer, director or manager of a business located within the City.
