NOMINATION FOR APPOINTMENT TO THE GREEN IMPLEMENTATION ADVANCEMENT BOARD.
BASED ON THE ROTATION SYSTEM, THE NOMINATION FOR APPOINTMENT OF ONE (1) REGULAR MEMBER TO SERVE A TERM ENDING JULY 31, 2028, WILL BE MADE BY MAYOR CARNEY (SEAT #5).

Motion to approve the appointment of one (1) regular member to serve a term ending July 31, 2028.

Background:
Due to the resignation of Sarah Brown, a seat on the board is vacant. Sarah accepted the seat without realizing that her work schedule would conflict with the board's schedule.
Green Implementation Advancement Board Member Requirements pursuant to Resolution 52-23:
1. The Green Implementation Advancement Board shall consist of five (5) members appointed by the City Commission. All appointments shall be for two (2) years, with two (2) terms expiring in odd-numbered years and three (3) terms expiring in even-numbered years so as to create staggered terms.
2. AIl members shall have expertise or an interest in environmental conservation and sustainability and shall be residents of or own property in the City, own a business within the City, or be an officer, director or manager of a business located within the City.
