As noted in the August 22, 2025 City Commission Information Letter, the definition of economic development varies depending on specific focuses for any given community.

 

The Office of the City Manager therefore looks forward to working with the City Commission to outline specific expectations accordingly.  This includes targeted approaches for properties that have traditionally underperformed economically, as well as resource considerations to help implement ancillary marketing and recruitments strategies.
