Motion to approve Resolution 255-24 approving an Agreement with Central Square Technologies, LLC for public safety software through City Standard in the amount not to exceed $4,649,908.02.

Background:
This agenda item is an administrative action to update existing and valid agreement that was originally executed in 2010, which has no term, is over 500 pages long, and has outdated language.
There are no changes to the annual payment amounts; the only substantial change is having a clearly defined term and language. The new agreement has a five year initial term with five one-year renewal options.
To provide some background on the item, in 2010, City issued an RFP No. 2010-05 for Public Safety software, which was awarded to SunGard, now Superion/Central Square, for the OneSolution/OSSI software. OneSolution/OSSI is utilized for majority of day-to-day PD operations through modules such as Records Management system, CAD mapping, computer-aided dispatch, property and evidence module, mobile citation module, etc.
The contract is over 500 pages and has gone through over ten amendments over the years to add additional modules and for professional services provided. Due to the contract documents being long, without an end date, and with outdated language, a new agreement was drafted in order to make review of contract easier for any future amendments if needed, for contract management purposes as well as to expedite annual licensing and maintenance payments.
