Motion to approve hold harmless agreement for sale of one canine.

Background:
This is a request to approve hold harmless agreement for the sale of one canine. This hold harmless agreement is between the City of Delray Beach and Sergeant Adam Margolis to retire K-9 Bo for the sum of $1.00. The City will not have any increased liability exposure due to this sale as Sergeant Adam Margolis will be completely responsible for his former partner, dog Bo, and will indemnify the City of Delray Beach.
City Attorney Review:
Approved as to form and legal sufficiency.
Funding Source/Financial Impact:
There will be no cost to the City of Delray Beach.
Timing of Request:
This request is time sensitive due to Sergeant Margolis’ retirement effective date.
