Background:

The proposed Ordinance allows staggered terms for the two elected and two appointed Trustee positions on both the Firefighters’ Retirement System Board of Trustees and on the Police Officers’ Retirement System Board of Trustees so that the respective four positions are not up for election and appointment on the same date every four years.
