Staff recommends approval of Ordinance 09-26 to remove the definitions of “Automated External Defibrillator” and “Bleeding Control Kit” from the Land Development Regulations.
Body
Background:
The City Commission adopted Ordinance 11-24 on June 18, 2024 to set minimum standards for use, maintenance, and installation of Automated External Defibrillators and Bleeding Control Kits. The definitions for “Automated External Defibrillator” and “Bleeding Control Kit” were inadvertently included in the Land Development Regulations while they should have been placed in the body of Section 96.18. Ordinance 09-26 is intended to remove the definitions from the Land Development Regulations to correct this error.
