Background:

The All-America City Award is presented annually by the National Civic League in Denver Colorado. Communities are selected based on their ability to leverage civic engagement, collaboration, inclusiveness, and innovation to address local issues.

 

The City of Delray Beach is a finalist for the All-America City Delegation Award. The City Manager is requesting to be present at the event should the City of Delray Beach be the recipient of the award. Travel for this purpose would take place from June 28, 2025 through June 30, 2025.

Funding Source/Financial Impact:

Due to position vacancies, $3,000 is available to be transferred from 2025 budget account 001-12-000-512.12-10 (Regular Salaries/Wages) to account 001-12-000-512.40-10 (Travel/Training).
