Motion to approve Ordinance 05-18, repealing Article 8.1 “the Community Redevelopment Agency” of the City's Land Development Regulations.
Body
Background:
On April 3, 2018, the City Commission adopted Resolution 53-18 declaring itself as the governing body of the Delray Beach Community Redevelopment Agency. As a result of this action, the regulations governing the CRA have to be amended. As part of this process, it was determined that these regulations should be codified in the City's Code of Ordinances, and not the Land Development Regulations. The purpose of this ordinance is to repeal Article 8.1 “The Community Redevelopment Agency” of the City's Land Development Regulations in order to amend these regulations and place them in the City's Code of Ordinances.
