Recommended Action:
Special Events Technical Advisory Committee (SETAC) recommends the Development Services Management Group (DSMG) approve the special event known as First Annual Delray Beach Unity Benefit Concert to be held on November 24, 2024; and authorize the Special Event Manager (SEM) to take all actions necessary to effectuate the Special Event Permit.

Background:
Temple Adath Or submitted a Special Event Application on August 20, 2024 for the event First Annual Delray Beach Unity Benefit Concert to be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024 at the Old School Square Pavilion. This event is trying to bring together the community through music. The event will feature live music and an artist teaching a song to the audience to sing together to promote unity. There will be no food or alcohol at this event. This will be a ticketed event. The event will take place from 3pm - 5pm and gates will open at 1:30pm. There will be chairs set up according to fire code totaling 1200, which is the expected attendance.
The original application indicated a parking plan and use of city meters for attendees. However, after updating the site map these items were found to not be needed for this event and the attendees will us the Old School Square parking garage.
