Motion to approve nominations for an appointment for four (4) regular members to serve on the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee.

Body
Background:
Due to the removal of four (4) members created vacancies on the board. Nomination for an appointment is needed for one (1) regular member to serve an unexpired term ending July 31, 2025. Nomination for an appointment is needed for three (3) regular members to a term ending July 31, 2026.

On April 1, 2008, the Delray Beach City Commission adopted Resolution No. 12-08 establishing the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee for the purpose of recommending incentives for affordable housing to the City Commission.

On January 17, 2012, Resolution No. 05-12 was adopted to allow the appointment of citizens engaged in the activity without regard to affordable housing, if the City, whether due to its small size, the presence of a conflict of interest by prospective appointees or other reasonable factors, is unable to appoint a citizen actively engaged in these activities in connection with affordable housing.

The following individuals have submitted applications and would like to be nominated for appointment:

A check for code violations and/or municipal liens was conducted. None were found. Voter registration verification was completed, and all are registered.

Based on the rotation system, the nomination for appointment of one (1) regular member to serve an unexpired term ending July 31, 2025, will be made by Deputy Vice-Mayor Long (Seat# 2).
