Motion to Approve Resolution No.160-26 amending the Fiscal Year 2026-27 budget adopted on September 22, 2026.

Background:
The purpose of this request is to amend the adopted Fiscal Year (FY) 2026-27 budget to account for items that were not anticipated, or measurable at the time of original budget adoption. Per Florida State Statute (FSS) 166.241, the City’s Adopted Budget may be revised with a Budget Amendment approved by the City Commission. Provided below is a summary of the budget changes staff is recommending. The attached Resolution and Exhibit A provides details of the proposed changes.

General Fund (001) $106,211.29
Public Works requests a $106,211.29 revenue increase to Contributions Account and a $106,211.29 expenditure increase to Other Contractual Services to account for a settlement resulting from contractor damage during construction

Increase amount requested is $106,211.29

Funding Source: Increase of $106,211.29 to revenues and expenditures in the General Fund

Special Projects Fund (115) $140,000.00
Public Works requests a $140,000.00 revenue increase to Budgetary Account and a $140,000.00 expenditure increase to Other Contractual Services to replace diseased trees at the Delray Beach Municipal Golf Course concurrent to the Delray Beach Municipal Golf Course Renovation Project (P/N 19-032), which is currently underway. The use of these funds is in accordance with the Tree Trust Fund, as defined in Appendix A, “Definitions”, of the Land Development Regulations of the City of Delray Beach
