Background:
Attached is the Expenditure Plan for Opioid Settlement Funds as submitted to the State of Florida. Program descriptions and dollar amounts are as approved by the City Commission at their meeting of June 9, 2026.
The Plan includes anticipated expenditures for the following:
1) $125,500.00 for 50% of a Mobile Integrated Health Unit;
2) $135,000.00 for Outside Organizations to provide Workforce and Job Assistance for Persons at Risk of or with Opioid Use Disorder and other Co-occuring Disorders;
3) $135,024.93 for Outside Organizations to provide Affordable and/or Suppportive Housing for persons at Risk of or with Opioid Use Disorder and other Co-occuring Disorders.
This item is to describe to the OSAC the purpose of each expenditure category and to have any related discussion and question session.
