Recommended Action:

Recommendation

Motion to approve Amendment 1 to a Valet Parking License Agreement with Rosebud 307, LLC, d/b/a Lionfish providing valet parking services to change the location of the valet queue and to extend the license from September 1, 2020 until August 31, 2022.

Body

Background:

The City of Delray Beach wishes to amend and extend a Valet Parking License Agreement with Rosebud 307, LLC, d/b/a Lionfish in the Central Business District. The license holder wishes to expand and relocate the existing valet queue from four spaces on SE 3rd Avenue to five spaces on westbound Atlantic Avenue adjacent to the Lionfish Restaurant. The initial period for this license agreement was for an period of six months. This amendment would extend the license for an additional two years. There is no month-to-month renewal clause.

Should the Commission choose to relocate the valet queue off of Atlantic Avenue or to raise the Valet Parking License Fee, this contract can be cancelled on 30-days notice and a new contract will be pursued including the new location and/or fee structure.
