Motion to approve Resolution No. 164-25, approving an agreement with Johnson-Davis, Inc, for the purpose of repairs and/or emergency services on an "as needed basis", for Water Distribution and Wastewater Collection Utility Services, utilizing the City of Lake Worth Beach, IFB (Invitation for Bid) No. 25-105, Emergency Utility Repairs for Water, Wastewater, and Stormwater, in a total contract value not to exceed $2,000,000.

Background:
On March 14, 2025, the City of Lake Worth Beach (City) advertised IFB No. 25-105, for qualified and experienced contractors to provide Emergency Utility Repairs for Water, Wastewater and Stormwater. On April 17, 2025, the City received a total of (4) responses. At the Lake Worth Commission Meeting held on June 26, 2025, Johnson-Davis, Inc. was awarded and found to be one of the responsive and responsible bidders. The term of the agreement is for three (3) years, with two (2) additional one year renewals valid through June 25, 2030.
The Utilities Department (Department) requests to utilize this contract for repairs on an "as needed basis" for larger installs and repairs for water and sewer force mains, gravity mains, water mains, meter installation as well as valve installations. In addition, services can and will be used in case of a hurricane, natural disaster, or other emergency related crisis.
