Background:
The City of Delray Beach recognizes the benefits derived from the hard work, sacrifice and unwavering dedication that the men and women in the fire service have contributed throughout this country, including the communities of Delray Beach, Highland Beach and the Town of Gulfstream. Over the past two years, firefighters had to face the life-threatening COVID-19 pandemic where they have again demonstrated their commitment to service above self in the face of increased health and safety risks.
All of Delray Beach is urged to take a moment and recognize the heroic efforts put forth by the Delray Beach Fire Rescue Department each day.
