Receive presentation from Thuc Le, P.E., project manager with the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) concerning the interchange improvements including turbo lanes at I-95 and Atlantic Avenue at I-95 and Linton Boulevard.

Background:
The FDOT has initiated construction of roadway improvements along Atlantic Avenue at the I-95 interchange beginning on June 26. These improvements will range from the E4 Canal / El Rio just west of Congress Square east to W. 12th Avenue. The improvements include a turbo lane, which is designed to alleviate traffic backup at the interchange along Atlantic Avenue. Similar improvements have been discussed and are in the design stage at the intersection of I-95 and Linton Boulevard.

Funding Source/Financial Impact:
The City participated financially in this project through the funding of water utility relocations and the upgrade of street lighting to match decorative lighting along Atlantic Avenue.
