Background:
The GOL ILUMINADO FOUNDATION Inc. founded in 2007 by FIFA Legend Elias Figueroa, is a 501(c)(3) Federal Non-Profit. Its mission is to use sport as a conduit for implementing educational initiatives for families and children in need and at risk through ‘Education Through Sport’ Legacy Projects, aiming to build a peaceful and better world through the Olympic Idea.
KOP Mentoring Network founded by C. Ron Allen has been established since 1991, empowering youth to reach their fullest potential by providing them with positive mentors and educational opportunities through various academy and camp experiences.
Both organizations have created the “StarMakers: Fit Bodies, Fit Minds” program to empower school-age students in Delray Beach to thrive academically, physically, and emotionally. By combining literacy, fitness, and athlete mentorship, we can create a positive impact on their overall well-being.
