Motion to approve disbursement of grant dollars for educational efforts, programming, and instructional improvements in Delray Beach Public Schools.

Background:
The City of Delray Beach is committed to working with community stakeholders to improve educational opportunities for all students and families. The mission of the City of Delray Beach’s education advocates is to ensure equitable and accessible high-quality education opportunities for all Delray Beach students and residents. The 2023-2024 Delray Beach Public Schools Education Grant seeks to fund specific projects and activities related to the following high priority areas: Reading Proficiency, Math Proficiency, Science, Proficiency, School Safety and Positive Behavior Interventions Mental and Behavioral Health Workforce and Career Readiness.
