Approve the Interlocal Agreement between the CRA and City for the CRA, in substantially the attached form, to provide funding for enlargement of the storage area located within the City’s Old School Square Parking Garage in an amount not to exceed $4,375, and provide for long term storage of the CRAs golf carts.

Background:
The CRA owns, operates, and maintains golf carts that are utilized by CRA staff.
At this time, it has been determined that there is a need to store the CRA golf carts in a secure and sprinklered location. CRA Staff reached out to City Staff who confirmed that the CRA could store their golf carts on the first floor of the City’s Old School Square Garage located at 95 NE 1st Avenue.
The space meets fire safety standards and is currently secured by a fence, however, the enclosed space will have to be enlarged to accommodate the additional vehicles. The City obtained a quote in the amount of $4,375 to enlarge the enclosed space and install a new black wire coated fence. The proposed ILA provides for CRA funding of the work and provides that the City will provide the CRA access to and use of the storage area for a five year term with automatic one year renewals thereafter.
At this time, CRA staff is recommending approval of this Interlocal Agreement between the CRA and City in substantially the attached form.
