Background:

Parental Alienation Awareness Day aims to raise awareness about the harmful effects of parental alienation on children. The campaign seeks to provide education regarding the negative impacts parental alienation can have on children. Parental alienation occurs when one parent intentionally and deliberately manipulates a child to turn them against the other parent. It’s important to raise awareness because parental alienation can cause psychological distress and damage to the parent-child relationship.
