Motion to Approve Service Authorization No. 12-03.2 (Amendment 2 to Service Authorization No. 12-03) in the amount of $9,173.24 for additional engineering services related to the Sanitary Sewer Systems 58A and 87 Force Main Replacement project (Project No. 2014-039).

Body
Background:
The City utilizes approved engineering consultants retained through RFQ No. 2012-06. The original agreement, with the Consultant, was executed on January 2012.

On January 7, 2014, City Commission awarded Service Authorization (SA) No. 12-03 to Wantman Group, Inc. in the amount of $79,725.00 for engineering services to replace deteriorating piping and pumps at the lift stations. Services included final design, surveying, geotechnical services, permitting, and bidding services required in preparing a bid package for the project.

On May 19, 2015, City Commission approved Amendment 1 (SA No. 12-03.1) to Wantman Group, Inc. in the amount of $27,492.56 for engineering services relating to the upgrade of the electrical control panel on Lift Station 58A, providing design and construction administration services.

Scope of services under this amendment will include engineering to provide improvements to upstream lift stations 55 and 59, upgrading the electrical services and control panel to accommodate enhanced pumps. In addition, while performing the update to the Reclaimed Water Master Plan to evaluate the feasibility for expansion to additional customer areas, staff thought it prudent, as part of this project, to install piping for reclaimed water.
