Recommended Action:

Special Events Technical Advisory Committee (SETAC) recommends the Development Services Management Group (DSMG) approve the special event known as Anthony Schwartz Kids Summer Jam & Fitness Festival to be held on June 5, 2026; and authorize the Special Event Manager (SEM) to take all actions necessary to effectuate the Special Event Permit.

Background:

Face It Athletics Corp submitted a Special Event Application on February 3, 2026 for the event Anthony Schwartz Kids Summer Jam & Fitness Festival to be held at the Seacrest Soccer Complex on Friday, June 5, 2026.  This event has happened for the last 4 years and was last held in June of 2025 without issues. The event is a fitness and field day games for summer camps.  All camps are by invite only.  The event is not open to the general public. The event will take place from 10:00am - 3:00pm.  There will be live music at the event from a DJ.  The event producer is expecting 500 people in attendance.  This event was previously put on by the Parks and Recreation Department in partnership with Face It Athletics.  

Special Event Technical Advisory Committee (SETAC):

SETAC recommends DSMG approve the event.

No special conditions are recommended by SETAC

Funding Source/Financial Impact:

There is no financial impact to the city as all costs will be billed to the event producer.
